Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By placing an order with LaundryZone, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. About Us

LaundryZone is a professional laundry, dry cleaning, and garment care service operating in England and Wales. Our registered office is located in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom. We provide collection, cleaning, and delivery services to residential and commercial customers.

2. Services

We offer the following services:

  • Wash & Fold — Everyday laundry, washed and tumble dried
  • Wash & Iron — Washed, ironed, and returned on hangers or folded
  • Dry Cleaning — Professional dry cleaning for delicate garments
  • Ironing Only — Crisp ironing for shirts, trousers, and more
  • Duvet & Bulky Items — Cleaning for duvets, blankets, pillows, and mattress protectors
  • Easy Order — A deposit-based bag collection service where items are counted, cleaned, and invoiced

3. Placing an Order

3.1. Orders may be placed through our website or mobile application.

3.2. When you place an order, you must provide accurate contact details, a valid delivery address within our coverage area, and select a pickup and delivery time slot.

3.3. By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase our services. We accept this offer when we collect your items.

3.4. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, for example if your address is outside our coverage area or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1. All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

4.2. Payment is required at the time of placing your order via our secure online payment system (powered by Stripe). We accept all major credit and debit cards.

4.3. For Easy Orders, a deposit is collected at the time of booking. The remaining balance is invoiced after your items have been counted and processed. Payment of the balance is required before delivery.

4.4. Delivery is free on orders over the threshold displayed on our website. A delivery charge applies to orders below this amount. A minimum order value may also apply.

4.5. Prices may be updated from time to time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place it.

5. Pickup & Delivery

5.1. We will collect your items from and deliver them to the address you provide during checkout.

5.2. You must ensure someone is available at the specified address during the selected time slot to hand over and receive items.

5.3. If we are unable to collect or deliver due to no one being present, we may charge for a re-attempt or cancel the order.

5.4. We aim to complete standard orders within 48 hours of collection, subject to availability and service type. Estimated turnaround times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.

5.5. You may reschedule your pickup or delivery through the website or app, subject to availability.

6. Garment Care & Liability

6.1. We take the utmost care with all garments and items entrusted to us. However, we cannot guarantee the removal of all stains, and some items may not respond to cleaning as expected due to the nature of the fabric, stain, or prior treatment.

6.2. You must inform us of any special care requirements, pre-existing damage, or delicate items at the time of placing your order. Failure to do so may limit our liability.

6.3. In the unlikely event that we damage or lose an item, our liability is limited to 10 times the cleaning cost of the affected item, up to a maximum of £500 per order. We will not be liable for:

  • Items with pre-existing damage, wear, or defects
  • Colour loss, shrinkage, or damage caused by manufacturer defects or incorrect care labelling
  • Items left in pockets (please check all pockets before handing over garments)
  • Sentimental or consequential losses
  • Items valued over £500 unless declared in advance and agreed in writing

6.4. Any claims for damage or loss must be reported within 48 hours of delivery by contacting us at support@laundryzone.co.uk.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

7.1. You may cancel an order free of charge at any time before our driver collects your items.

7.2. Once items have been collected, cancellation is not possible and no refund will be issued, as the cleaning process will have commenced.

7.3. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our service, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will re-clean the affected items free of charge. If you remain unsatisfied after re-cleaning, we will issue a refund for the affected items at our discretion.

7.4. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

8. Coupons & Promotions

8.1. Promotional codes and discounts are subject to specific terms and conditions, including expiry dates, minimum order values, and usage limits.

8.2. Coupons cannot be combined with other offers unless stated otherwise.

8.3. We reserve the right to withdraw or modify any promotion at any time without notice.

9. Your Account

9.1. To use our services, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

9.2. You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account.

9.3. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

10.1. We collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

10.2. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1. All content on our website and app, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of LaundryZone UK Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

11.2. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaundryZone shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

12.2. Our total liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that order.

12.3. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, transport disruptions, or government actions.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The revised terms will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

15.1. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

15.2. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15.3. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which are not affected by these terms.
